email us at: What is a Pintabian?A Pintabian (pin-TAY-bee-an) is a horse with over 99% Arabian blood and large, non-symmetrical spots known as tobiano (toe-BEE- ah-no) markings. Appearance The Pintabian has a “dished” face and large, wide set eyes. Its head is usually colored with a white marking (such as a strip, blaze, star, etc.). The neck is arched, the back short and muscular. Hips are relatively level and the tail carriage high. Legs are commonly white. Pintabians are relatively small horses. They generally stand between 14.2 and 15.2 hands, and weigh between 900 and 1,100 pounds. Characteristics
